It depends on your definition of “best”. Iphone definitely leads in the apps department, but for Palm Pre and Android, these are just starting platforms and this could change. iPhone is flashy and pretty, but I think Android is more functional.

My fav version is Android 1.6 with the HTC Sense UI. But I haven’t played around too much with 2.0+
